Installing GameVox on Windows

  1. Launch the GameVox-Install.exe file that you downloaded from

  2. Read through the Terms of Service Agreement and select the check box to confirm that you agree
  3. If you wish to change where GameVox will install to (default is C:\Program Files(x86)\GameVox) you can do so by clicking the Options button on the Service Agreement dialog. (However this is not recommended and will require you to run GameVox as administrator for push-to-talk to function correctly)
  4. Click the "Install" button to install GameVox
  5. Once the install is complete, you can then use the "Launch" button to start GameVox

Uninstalling GameVox on Windows 7

  1. Launch the windows control panel by clicking the Windows Start Button, and selecting "Control Panel"
  2. Select the "Uninstall a program" option under the "Programs" heading
  3. Search for "GameVox 0.N.NNNN" where N is the version number of GameVox you have installed
  4. Right click the GameVox line item and select uninstall or click the uninstall button near the top of the installed program list
  5. The GameVox uninstaller will launch, select "Uninstall" on the screen that comes up to uninstall. 

Uninstalling GameVox on Windows 8 and 10

  1. Click the Windows Button on the bottom right of your screen, and click "Settings"
  2. Click the "System" option
  3. Click "Apps & Features" on the left hand menu
  4. In the "Type an app name.." box search for "GameVox"
  5. Click "GameVox 0.N.NNNN" where N is the version number of GameVox you have installed
  6. Click the "Uninstall" button
  7. The GameVox uninstaller will launch, select "Uninstall" on the screen that comes up to uninstall. 

Resetting registry settings

  1. Click the Windows start menu and type "regedit" and click "regedit.exe"

  2. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" then to "Software"

  3. Delete the "GameVox" folder by right clicking on it and clicking delete

Install Manually

Try installing GameVox manually or please create a GameVox account and submit a support request explaining your installation issue.  Next send the support staff your installation log files for review.

Update Windows

It is a good idea to verify your operating system is up-to-date then retry the installation.  If your installation log file contains "Failed authenticode verification of payload" you are due to update your windows system by using windows update.

To check for Windows updates
  1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Update.

  2. In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

  3. If any updates are found, click Install updatesAdministrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

How to Send your Installation Log file to GameVox

Windows Vista and Windows 7


  1. Click the windows button on the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Enter %temp% into the search programs and files box.
  3. Press the Enter key.
  4. A window will popup showing files in a folder. The file names starting with GameVox_ are the files we need. 
    1. If you are unsure about what files to send, delete all files starting with GameVox_ in the %temp% directory and re-run the install file so new files are created.
  5. Login to (Create a new account if needed)
  6. On the left menu click 'Support Requests'
  7. Create a new Support Request and attach the log files in your support request also letting us know you are having problems installing GameVox.
